Commercial Real Estate Searches, Nationally

Conventional wisdom suggests you find a broker in the city where you buy or lease, right? When we launched REC and had a client who wanted to open a new office in, for example, St. Louis or Los Angeles, we too wouldvet out local brokers and then introduce them to our client as the local expert.  Although these brokers often came recommended from a trusted mutual contact, these referrals ended poorly one hundred percent of the time for reasons stereotypical to the commercial brokerage industry: the broker was initially responsive and enthusiastic, but then started chasing a shinier object and neglected our client. The broker overlooked important due diligence and wasted our client’s time by failing to proactively issue spot. Everyone lost in this scenario: REC looked bad because we made a poor broker recommendation; the client didn’t get the facility they needed in a timely manner; and the receiving broker did not get their deal.

We quickly decided that REC should serve our clients for life: in other words, wherever our client has a commercial real estate need, we will conduct the search, travel with them to tour properties like we would in Colorado, and still be their zealous advocate throughout the tenant rep or buyer rep process. As a result, the client does not have to spend time interviewing new brokers and take the chance on hiring a company that is a poor fit.  Instead, we resume working with the client as we have in Colorado and deliver the same top-notch experience to which they have become accustomed. We can do this because we have access to property databases nationwide. The commercial real estate brokerage industry is fairly normalized whether we are representing a client in Temecula, Telluride, Tulsa, or Tallahassee. Rest assured that REC studies each state’s brokerage rules and complies with local protocol while our client has one point of contact throughout the process: us. If we may be of assistance with your next commercial real estate acquisition, regardless of location, don’t hesitate to contact us.
